BIOLOGGER
Description :
BIOLOGGER®
is a multichannel
recording system which you can freely combine in almost any configuration. A
wide range of digital filters, feature detectors and analyzers, as well as
recorder and replayer instruments allow for the analysis of the acquired data.
16 channels (designed for
use with the National Instruments Card model 6023-E). Each
channel can be configured independently of the others.
Variable sampling rate on
all channels. Variable number and location
of each channel on the panel. Variable sampling
period. Configurable voltage and
time base. AutoScale button: Adjust
automatically all the active channels in the front panel. Acquired block of data can
be viewed in a number of different formats. Data can be saved in either
a proprietary format to conserve disk space or in a text mode for
importation into other software packages. Fix button to freeze the
acquisition without stopping the application. Print mode : open a panel to
configure the print. It is available a position cursor and an Autoscale
button. Specific filters for each
channel (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and a bandstop filter with a
cutoff frequency from 0.1 Hz to 10 kHz and a configurable order).
The filter type is a
Butterworth Filter. It is characterized by a smooth response at all
frequencies and a monotonic decrease from the specified cutoff
frequencies. Butterworth filters are maximally flat-the ideal response of
unity in the passband and zero in the stopband. The
advantage of Butterworth filters is a smooth, monotonically decreasing
frequency response. After you set the cutoff frequency,
BIOLOGGER® Acquisition Tools sets the steepness of the
transition proportional to the filter order. Higher order Butterworth
filters approach the ideal lowpass filter response.
